Build independence in 10 minutes course, help dyslexic kids

Welcome to the “Build independence and get organised” course. Learn about the tools a dyslexic child can use to become more independent. This will help the child gain confidence and grow as a person.

This easy to follow course will help you:

  • Break down large tasks into small step by step checklists.
  • Get the child to plan and get organised for the school week.
  • Give the child more responsibility and the freedom to make choices.

How to make a child more independent

To start, understand the benefits of becoming more independent and organised. When a child begins to develop independence, they may start to feel more:

  • Resilient
  • Empowered
  • Confident
  • In Control
  • Trusted

A dyslexic child may struggle to be organised, due to memory and brain planning issues. Letting them take on more responsibility, allowing them to fail can help the child. Research has shown children that lack a feeling of self-control, may become more anxious and depressed.
